The feeling of being alienated from one’s culture is a predominant feeling in the middle east, especially for Iraqis. For thousands of years, Iraqis have struggled to reconcile thier indivdual identities with the prevailant regieme, occupation or even, thier own culture… This ambiguity have taken over to the rest of the world image and the way foriegners precieve Iraq. Aside from the mass media higlighting war and conflict in this region, Iraqi diaspora themselves, do not see the true value of this region.
