Hot Flashes & Fiction is part diary, part daydream. I’m Darling Izzy, and at 40, I decided to call myself a writer around the same time that menopause came knocking. So yeah… timing. This podcast is me figuring out what that looks like, one sweaty, creative step at a time. Each week, you get two short episodes: Hot Flash Tuesdays: Honest confessions about aging, grief, and the emotional chaos of a middle aged woman. Fiction Fridays: I read original short stories I’ve written. These are fun and filled with creative weirdness based on my own messy life.
