Maia Martiniak (1977, Slovensko) is a director and a creative producer of documentary films. She holds the Grand Prize from film festival AGROFILM NITRA 2016 (Slovakia) and Best documentary from SUNLIGHT International Film Festival Berlin 2017 (Germany) for the film GREEN TRANSITIONS, the Grand Prize and the Audince's Prize from One World Slovakia 2020 for the film UNSEEN. In her documentaries, she focuses primarily on environmental issues, development cooperation and the issue of respect for the human rights.
