About?

‘Middee’ the podcast is a platform created by Monique Maitland, a Melbourne based Midwife / Nurse, founder of The Middee Society and host of ‘Middee’ the podcast: A modern-day midwifery, pre and post natal community education initiative. 'Middee' the podcast has been designed to provide soon-to-be parents, current parents and everyday Women and Men with vital midwifery education in a fun, light-hearted and informative way. Providing education covering pre-conception care, pregnancy, labour & birth, birth stories postpartum & midwifery tips. Offering my own education as well as speaking with noteworthy healthcare professionals or remarkable every day individuals - being new Mummas and Fathers, who share with me their experiences into parenthood. Together we unpack all the weird and wonderful pregnancy tales and postpartum questions and discuss the honest and unspoken truths - where our speakers share with us what they wished they had known before becoming a parent. Talking all things tits, bits, spew & poo and did I mention more ...poo.
