About?

A podcast which captures meaningful conversations between two unlikely great friends. Tiet Tran, a Vietnamese American and T. Douglas Tarenyika, a Zimbabwean/Ethiopian. Like you, both have seen dramatic changes throughout their lives. Douglas and Tiet share very similar childhoods from migrating to America early in their lives to growing up in immigrant households, but yet have very different viewpoints. Not long after the two met, they decided to journal their journeys through the “Ngo Guard Up” podcast. Listen in as they reflect on their past, present and future… with a sprinkle of humor.
