Phillimon Thulo was born in a humble home near Kroonstad in Free State. He fell in love with music from a young age and acquired the name DrPhill as he was described as "the music Doctor", and later became known as DrPhill RSA. His fascination about mixing and making the crowd dance led him to starting his own podcast on Podomatic called Prescription Mix Podcast. From listening to a lot of Dj mixtapes, Bookings and attending local events he further mastered his craft and now aspiring to be in the same scene as the likes of Black Coffee. His Bookings and market has grown drastically in the last year and now working with Big brands like Distell. He is a resident Dj for the following Events: Felebs and Friends, Bokamoso Events, TheVerge and SADUP. He worked with Canoe Deep in their EP released in 2019 called "Dancing on the Moon".
