About?

On this show, we traverse the tricky terrain of critical theory, from cyborgs to hauntology, from closets to capitalism. Each week, Ellen is joined by a guest who have selected a topic of their choosing, and the discussion is entered on how this particularly theory is relevant to understanding the contemporary political moment. The podcast is inspired by Deleuze and Guattari's instructions for achieving a Body without Organs: “This is how it should be done: lodge yourself on a stratum, experiment with the opportunities it offers, find an advantageous place on it, find potential movements of deterritorialization, possible lines of flight, experience them, produce flow conjunctions here and there, try out continuums of intensities segment by segment, have a small plot of new land at all times.” Hosted on Acast.
