About?

Wizard, a DJ/Producer from San José, Costa Rica, invites you to navigate into the magic of the underground music, with a distinguishable sound highly influenced by genres such as Techno, Melodic Techno, Progressive and shades of modern Tech House, all that permeated with psychedelic nuances. He is a born experience creator, a session with the Wizard in the decks is, without a doubt, a sensory experience. Graduated as producer from djlab the first music production school in the region, certificaded by the the Brooklyn Digital Conservatory (NY), he is an artist in constant growth in the central-american scene that has accomplished to impact the dance floors with his energy and exquisite taste for the magic of the underground music. Has shared line up with world-class artists like  Solomun, Michael Bibi, Dixon, Adriatique, Artbat, Seth Trolex, Amele Lens, Giorgia Angiuli, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Hot Since 82 Maceo Plex (MPLX), Seth Troxler,  Ame (Innervisions), Claptone,  Maetrik, Magdalena (Dynamic), Rüfus Du Sol, Clozee, Symbolico, Doc Martin  (Sublevel), Yokoo (All Day I Dream),  Monolink, Kora, Be Svendsen, Zach  Walker (Pink Mammoth), Ray Okpara,  Dennis Horvat, Gheist (Diynamic  Music), Andreas Henneberg (Heinz Music), Justin Martin (Dirtybird), Jeremy Olander (Vibrant), Sabb, Leonardo Gonelli  (Deeperfect), Joeski (Maya Recordings),  David Herrero (Stereo Productions) , Brian Cid (Lost & Found) , Andre Gazolla (303  Lovers), Perfect Stranger, Tini Gessler (El Row), Pilato (Bonzai Progressive), Saqib and Sam Jaspersohn from the Ebb + Flow Collective, among others. As a producer, he has signed with international records such as Rezongar (ARG), In Tune (UK), Moonchild Records (ESP) and more recently with Selador Recordings (UK) running by the progressive legends Dave Seaman and Steve Parry. Have collaborations with Hannes Bieger (DE), Heik (former member of Oostil, After Life), Andre Gazolla (BR) His music received the support of Nicole Moudaber, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Undercatt, Magit Cacoon, Affkt, Massano, Hunter/Game, Darin Eripson and others He is currently one of the most active DJs in the Costa Rican scene and has been part of the most successful events of Nocturnal and Electric Animals (two of the greatest shows of underground music in Costa Rica), has numerous gigs in Club Vertigo (within top 10 venues recommended by Mix Mag worldwide) as well as Antik, both cultural references of the electronic music scene in Costa Rica He has been part of the three most renowned international festivals in Costa Rica: Envision Festival (within top 10 worldwide), Ocaso Fest and Picnic. In 2020, Wizard launched his own thematic party called Magik Kingdom, counting with 3 editions already, all of them sold out. His music has appeared in important channels like Frisky Radio and Electronic Groove, both renowned platforms in electronic music. His sound has transcended boundaries several times, such as in the Magma Fest VI in Ometepe, Nicaragua and in the Cosmic Convergence in Guatemala two times, being the closing set in the last edition (Global Stage).
