ALL PODCASTS WILL HAVE A TRIGGER WARNING! Hi, my name is Isami. I'm a former "missionary" kid who found God after leaving a religious cult. Growing up I was taught a "woman's place" in the kingdom of God was in the kitchen or as a doormat. After leaving the environment I was raised in, I learned that God had bigger plans for me. I've found healing through, therapy, relationships, and sharing my story of survival. I'm here to cook with the chaos and serve sandwich of religious trauma, mental health struggles, loaded with trigger warnings, straight from my anti misogynist kitchen. Enjoy!
