Ordinary voters try to explain how democracy works in their country. Do voters in other countries have more trust, a greater sense of involvement, and more hope in their country's future? If so, can we get some of that over here in the US? Listen along as Mary interviews two ordinary citizens from the same country about how they vote, why they do (or don't) trust their politicians, and what they believe goes into making a strong democracy.
