Ahmed Metwally Mohamed
Dr. Ahmed Metwally Mohamed is a distinguished scholar and educator, currently serving as the Religious Director at Al Falah Center in Bridgewater, New Jersey. He holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Biology from Queen’s University in Canada, and an M.A. in Islamic Studies from the Islamic University of Minnesota. Dr. Mohamed also possesses traditional Islamic licenses (Ijazah) to transmit and teach Qur’an recitation, Tajweed, Aqeedah, Hadith, and the principles of Fiqh and Hadith. His academic career includes faculty positions at Rutgers University, the College of Staten Island, and Raritan Valley Community College. He has also served as the Resident Director of Youth and Young Adults Islamic Studies at the Islamic Society of Central Jersey. Dr. Mohamed is an active speaker and educator, regularly participating in conferences and seminars. Notably, he has been a featured speaker at NJ Dawah events, where he delivers lectures on various Islamic topics. His commitment to both scientific and Islamic education makes him a unique asset to the community, bridging the gap between contemporary knowledge and traditional Islamic teachings.
