Born from sincerity and self-reflection, Becoming Amal is my journey as a perfectly imperfect Muslimah striving, stumbling, and returning to اللّٰه. “Alive in Hope” from my names Amal (Hope) and Aisha (Alive), reminds me to rise after every fall, to keep learning, growing, and believing that every step toward اللّٰه counts. “And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.” [كِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَى تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ] —Qur’an 51:55—
