Real men don’t take nonsense from spoiled kids, and Disko Troop, the skipper of the fishing schooner Were Here out of Gloucester, Massachusetts, is no exception. When his crew rescues Harvey Cheyne from the Atlantic, they have no idea what they’re in for. With no time to waste, Harvey is thrust into the rigors of life at sea as he replaces a crew member lost overboard. Though he comes from wealth, Disko and his crew are skeptical of his privileged background.
