About?

Gokosoul (Gökhan Kılıç) is a music artist, producer, and sound designer known for his genre-blending approach and rich sonic textures. His journey into music began in 2000, inspired by Prince’s Batman soundtrack. Fascinated by the magic behind sound, he immersed himself in choirs, learned guitar and keyboard, and eventually discovered his true passion—sound design. His relentless pursuit of sonic perfection led him to develop a unique style, earning recognition in global compilation albums and radio features. In 2011, he made waves in the trance scene with Don't Run Away, a collaboration with DJ Axel F. His 2019 release Karma from the Side Effects EP was featured on Spotify’s Night Rider playlist, further solidifying his reputation in the electronic music world. From 2012 to 2017, his widely used sound banks became a go-to for producers, while his 2015 remixes brought a fresh sonic identity to the electronic music scene. Drawing inspiration from timeless albums like Tri-State by Above & Beyond, Far from the Maddening Crowds by Chicane, and Sign of the Times by Cosmic Gate, Gokosoul continues to craft emotionally immersive music that stands the test of time. As the founder of Beatcord, he designs cutting-edge synthesizer soundsets and pursues his vision of creating a one-of-a-kind instrument—pushing the boundaries of electronic soundscapes.
