Globalization, Language, Culture and Identity: An Alternative Approach to English Language Teaching
Hi everyone! My podcast is about English Language Teaching (ELT) Programs and explores how they serve as an example of the globalization of education and of the English language. I also touch on how ELT programs can be an indicator of the English language carrying cultural meaning, and I reflect on my own experience through this lens. Through doing so, I propose how I could have approached my teaching methods more effectively, and hope this podcast can serve as a resource for teaching assistants in the future.
