NBC University Theater was a brand the National Broadcasting Co. applied to a category of radio programming. The series focused on reenacting novels by great authors for college classes. Many accredited American universities, and used this dramatic series as a supplement to correspondent college courses. Most NBC University Theater programming ran on NBC's Red Network. GSMC Classics presents some of the greatest classic radio broadcasts, classic novels, dramas, comedies, mysteries, and theatrical presentations from a bygone era. The GSMC Classics collection is the embodiment of the best of the golden age of radio.
