If I Ruled the World

What’s This Podcast
About?

What would the world look like if you were in charge? If I Ruled the World is a bold new podcast from The Big House, where host X hands the mic to care experienced and at-risk young people to ask that one powerful question. From rewriting school curriculums to settling global conflicts, rethinking AI to reimagining Mars—this series dives into the radical, the hopeful, and the brilliantly unexpected ideas of tomorrow's leaders. But it’s not all serious business. Expect new national anthems, dream coronations, fresh bank holidays, and maybe even a cabinet made up of rappers and robots. Real voices. Big ideas. A world turned upside down—on purpose. The Big House is a theatre company that works with care experienced and at-risk young people, using the creative arts to unlock their full potential, whilst offering long term support. They are a multi-award-winning organisation whose young members have gone on to win BAFTA’s and to feature in productions at Soho Place, The Bush, The Globe and appear in numerous series on Netflix, BBC, Amazon Prime, Sky TV, Channel 4 and the BBC.  Marnie Duke is an exciting, award-winning audio producer working across entertainment, factual, and fiction in both audio-only and visualised formats. She is the Silver Rising Star at the British Podcast Awards 2025, and has been shortlisted for the International Women’s Podcast Awards and the Independent Podcast Awards.  Original music by Jammz, artwork by Rich Jackson  ---- Alexander ‘X’ Lobo Moreno - Host Marnie Duke - Producer Maggie Norris - Executive Producer Jammz - Music Rich Jackson - Graphic Design Eleanor Wyld - Project Planning Constance Grave - Marketing & Comms A special thanks to our guests Oli Charde 11Millz Konz369 Becki With thanks to members of the Big House Knieke Ludovic Pedro Raheem Thanks to the Sir Halley Stewart Trust for making this podcast possible
