Welcome to Improv Island where Tom and Devin of Hip.Bang! dare world-class improvisers to thrill you for a specific length of time, all by themselves, inspired by a single suggestion. Part comedic romp, part improv endurance test, Improv Island is designed to show you the inside of your favourite improviser's brain. Every episode features a single take–no edits!–from a great comedian who has no plan and (almost) no audience. Featuring performers you'll recognize from Disney+, Just For Laughs, Comedy Central, CBC Comedy, and much more, this podcast is perfect for improv hounds or comedy newbies alike. As the episode numbers get higher, so does the length of time each improviser is asked to entertain you for, all by themselves. Season one kicks off with a hot minute from Allie Entwistle and concludes with a 15-minute solo opus from Ryan Beil (The Sunday Service). Improv Island is created by Hip.Bang!, who make comedy and all sorts of other unhinged projects, including their 42-track concept album (!!)
