Intentional Parenting Conversations is a UK-based podcast focused on the realities of parenting as a migrant family in Britain. We create space for open, practical conversations about raising children across cultures, understanding UK systems and making informed decisions for your family. From education, immigration and family finances to culture, identity, technology, online safety, wellbeing and preparing children for the future, we explore the issues shaping migrant families today. We talk about questions many migrant parents face: How do you understand a school system you did not grow up in? How do you preserve your culture while helping your children build their own British identity? How do you parent when your children are growing up with different cultural influences from those you experienced? How do you understand the services, opportunities and systems available to your family? How do you talk to your children about race, belonging, friendships, relationships, money and their future? How do you keep them safe in a digital culture that changes faster than many parents were prepared for? Through conversations with parents, professionals, community voices and people with lived experience, we share knowledge, experiences and practical guidance you can apply within your own family. We do not believe there is one correct way to parent. We believe informed parents make more intentional choices.
