Hi, I’m Simi. I thought I had a regular life, until I didn’t. At 31, my world shattered when my husband, the father of my children, died suddenly, leaving me with two little girls and a baby boy on the way. In the years that followed, I walked through widowhood, remarriage and divorce, soul-aching fear and loneliness, and the kind of breaking no one prepares for. It’s Not About Me is a solo, soul-led podcast about the raw truths we live and the guidebooks we become for each other by sharing honestly about being human.
