The collection is held in the public trust for exhibition, education, and research. The questionable opening hours and inaccessible location mean the easiest way in is to listen. Each episode takes one object and follows it wherever it leads: history, material science, folklore, popular culture or the bizarre. Not all history happens on purpose.
