Perform Chinese: A Language Course for True Beginners
We teach you Mandarin as scripts performed in real-life situations. You will have a Chinese name and be invited to turns performing various scenarios. When listening, imagine you are in the scenario and ACT out your role. Informed by the Experiential Learning Theory and the Performed Culture approach (PCA), each episode is paired with a rehearsal section for self-test. Study one new pair at a time and start the next time with the rehearsal section of the previous episode for a review. The episodes labeled with "PC" each build on the previous one. The Bonus episodes are optional supplements.
