Raymond Lull- First Missionary to the Moslems
Raymond Lull was a remarkable figure who embodied the spirit of a Renaissance man long before the Renaissance even began. After a transformative encounter with Christ, he dedicated his life to spreading the gospel. While many of his contemporaries sought to expel Muslims from the Holy Land through violent crusades, Lull embarked on a unique mission of love and reason to convert Muslims with compassion and intellect. He championed the study of oriental languages, undertook daring missionary journeys to North Africa, and ultimately paid the ultimate price for his faith with his martyrdom.
