Spirituality is known as Adhyatma in Sanskrit. It is a combination of the words Adhi and Atman (Atmanaha). Adhi refers to the topic, and Atma refers to the Soul. The Soul is the God force that resides within each of us and is our actual character. Absolute Truth (Sat), Absolute Consciousness (Chit), and Bliss are its characteristic (Anand).
