Shuga Mashariki: Off Script is an intimate, youth-driven audio experience that dives into the real conversations shaping young people’s lives today. Hosted by Makena Kahuha and Muchina Maloba, the podcast is produced in a community-style radio format, where each episode reflects a generation in its own voice spotlighting stories often overlooked and unpacking the complex realities young Kenyans navigate. Recorded over a month across three universities the University of Nairobi (Nairobi County), Egerton University (Nakuru County), and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (Siaya County) the series captures raw, unfiltered conversations from campuses where these stories are lived every day.
