Takusaan was born from the lifelong friendship of Saffie and Awa, a sisterhood dedicated to celebrating and uplifting African women and girls. Rooted in the beautiful tradition of "sitting together in the evening," Takusaan is a place of gathering where stories, culture, skills and spirituality intertwine. Here, faith and ancestral wisdom guide us as we nurture growth, inspire healing and spark transformation within our community.
