A podcast made in Cape Town in which we bring together local South African movement teachers, bodyworkers, thinkers, doctors, athletes, artists, physios and dancers to reflect on the body and the question of what it means to live well and to move well. We are talking not only from our practices but also from our own bodies, lives and communities. If you have been searching for ways to feel better but you feel alienated by the consumerist noise of the wellness space or overwhelmed by the pressure to track and to buy and to hack and to max, you are in the right place. I am your host, Azille Coetzee, a writer and feminist philosophy scholar turned movement teacher. Through these conversations I hope to offer you insight into ways of inhabiting your body with more ease and strength and presence; and how to feel more connected and aligned with yourself and the world around you – ways that are not about buying more things, but about being.
