The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is set in the Thundering Twenties and follows Scratch Carraway, a young fellow who moves to Long Island, New York. He becomes entranced by his secretive and affluent neighbor, Jay Gatsby, who tosses extravagant gatherings. Gatsby is infatuated with Daisy Buchanan, Scratch's cousin, and looks to revive a sentiment they had a long time previously.
