This podcast explores the experiences of 6 survivors of church based institutional child sexual abuse in the Newcastle-Maitland diocese of Australia. The podcast ensures that the stories of survivors continue to be told & heard, and that those responsible continue to be brought to justice. Each survivor tells their unique story including the devastating impacts child sexual abuse had on their self-worth, mental health, relationships & work, and their struggles to find justice. The interviews were recorded between 2019-2020 by Dr Kathleen McPhillips, a sociologist at the University of Newcastle
