Theory of X uses pop culture to exemplify, explain, and explore an idea that might seem merely academic, boringly abstract, or potentially politically explosive in a fun, engaging way. Each episode of Theory of X discusses a broad topic – a cultural, theoretical, or social phenomenon (like, say, “Feminism,” “Marxism,” or “Social Media”) in relation to superhero comics, genre television, or a favorite movie series.
