Robert Delany was 27 when in 2008 he was shot in the head on the orders of a brutal dissident Republican. The innocent dad’s “crime” was to break up a pub fight involving the wrong man. Shot in front of his young daughter in their Dublin home, Bob suffered catastrophic brain damage. For 17 years he has been neither living nor dead.
