Ahmed Saeed Mandour (also spelled Ahmed Said Mandour) is a Quran reciter from Egypt, born in the province of Damietta, in the city of Al Sarou. He primarily recites in the Hafs ‘an Asim narration. Digital Qur’anic archives feature numerous recordings of his recitations, including complete recitations of the Holy Quran. His voice is widely described as beautiful, heartfelt, and deeply moving, often praised for its ability to convey spiritual tranquility and comfort. Ahmed Saeed Mandour pursued a unique dual path in his life, combining religious scholarship with a medical career. He studied his primary and secondary education in Al Manarat schools in Medina, Saudi Arabia, before returning to Egypt for high school. He then joined the Faculty of Medicine at Al Qasr Al Aini in Cairo University, where he specialized in Gastroenterology and obtained a Master’s degree in the field. Following his graduation, he was appointed as a doctor of gastrointestinal and liver diseases at Cairo Fatimid Hospital in Darsa, Cairo. Alongside his medical profession, Sheikh Ahmed Saeed Mandour has also served as an Imam in various mosques, including Al Manawi’s Mosque and Al Mitwali’s Mosque in Al Sarou city, and Al Tawba Mosque. He is recognized for integrating his medical practice with his role as a reciter, emphasizing the healing of both the body and the soul through the Quran.
