What if the answer to so much of what divides us isn’t louder arguments, unbreakable denial, flat out lies, shrinking away, stronger opinions, hiding your truth, or winning the next fight? What if the answer is something far more human? and only found in true connections Welcome to Crimes Against Humility, a podcast about Narcissism, ego, empathy, connection, accountability, resilience, and the complicated truth of being human. Hosted by Jeff Hunter, this isn’t a show about pretending we have everything figured out. It’s about having the courage to look inward, listen deeply, laugh at ourselves, confront uncomfortable truths, and remember that every person we meet is carrying a story we cannot see. Here, we talk with real people about real life. The victories. The failures. The wounds. The relationships. The mistakes we wish we could undo. The moments that changed everything. We explore narcissism, humility, trauma, leadership, relationships, mental health, personal growth, forgiveness, human behavior, organizational culture, resilience, and the strange ways our ego can convince us that being right matters more than being kind. But this podcast isn’t about pointing fingers. It’s about mirrors. Because somewhere along the way, our world became very good at identifying what is wrong with everyone else—and not nearly as good at asking one simple question: What can I do differently? Crimes Against Humility challenges the culture of outrage, judgment, and disconnection with something surprisingly rebellious: Consideration. The willingness to stop. To listen. To wonder what another person might be carrying. To admit when we are wrong. To forgive. To grow. To choose empathy even when ego would be easier. We call it the Cult of Consideration—not a real cult, obviously, but a movement built around a radical idea: imagine what could happen if consideration became contagious. Because empathy is a superpower. Honesty is not malignancy. And sometimes the bravest thing a person can do is simply look inward. You’ll hear conversations with people from every walk of life—leaders, veterans, healthcare professionals, caregivers, artists, entrepreneurs, survivors, everyday people, and anyone with a story worth hearing. There may be laughter. There may be uncomfortable conversations. There may be tears. There will definitely be honesty. But underneath everything is one belief: We are far more connected than we realize. Behind every title, uniform, diagnosis, political opinion, mistake, success, failure, and carefully constructed mask is another human being trying to make sense of this life. Maybe humility isn’t thinking less of ourselves. Maybe it’s remembering to think about each other. So come sit with us. Bring your story. Bring your questions. Bring your scars. Bring your sense of humor. And maybe leave the ego at the door. Crimes Against Humility Real People. Bigger Conversations. A More Humble World. Because in the end… The answer is in the kindness.
