Daily English is a daily podcast in simple English. Each episode describes a holiday, festival, or other important day around the world. The average episode is around 5 minutes long, and uses grade 5 level English. Most of the vocabulary should be familiar to learners who have completed A2 in the CEFR. Your host, Sarah, is an Australian-born native-speaker of English. She has a PhD in linguistics, and holds a Graduate Certificate of Higher Education. Before leaving to travel the world, she worked as a university lecturer.
