It is not enough to hear and imagine ... You need to be able and know how to get the correct and very accurate sound, exactly the right way ... revealing the mood and soul ... This is the skill of the musician, no matter what "instrument" (hammer , chainsaw or drum) he uses. About me: I graduated from the Gnessin music school №122 in Moscow in piano)))
