Dive into the mysterious world of Mabel Wilcox, a woman who has just opened a girls boarding school and is thrown into a whirl of intrigue when the wealthy Mr. Conway Fitzgibbon enrolls his delicate daughter. But as Mabel delves into their background, she uncovers a shocking truth - theres no wealthy Fitzgibbon family! The supposed heiress Matilda is an imposter. What will Mabel do? Brought to life posthumously and introduced by Charlotte Brontës editor, W. M. Thackeray, these two chapters are the only known pieces of Emma, the novel Brontë was crafting before her untimely passing. Since then, it has been finished twice by different authors - a summary by Mary Kay.
