In an era where real life events transcend any comedic writing, Fear & Malding attempts to make sense of the senseless mania by looking at the material reasons behind actions, and offers historical perspective when necessary. Hasan and Will refuse to shy away from asking important questions like "Are democratic politicians intergalactic space vampires?", "Does Nancy Pelosi smell like sulfur?", and "Is there a more valiant social justice cause than Intactivisim?"
