A reading of the novel Killers, Liars, and Cowards: A Portrait of a Family, which is about Kailani Kahale, who was born to save the earth from annihilation, her grandfather's mysterious vision foretelling her fate—at least that's what her family says. But how can she believe them when they're nothing but killers, liars, and cowards?
