From the Red Book of Hergest, these are the tales of the Mabinogi. Fantasy audio drama, based on the ancient myths of Wales Aimee Ffion Edwards and Darragh Mortell star in a series of lost legends and dark magic. The tales of the Mabinogi are tales of romance, tragedy, comedy and fantasy and together they form the earliest prose stories of Britain. Award-winning writer Lucy Catherine (Being Human, Vanity Fair) gives these stories a modern flavour while remaining true to the vivid magic of Celtic mythology. A joint BBC Wales and BBC Radio 3 commission.
