Mask’d Confessionals is a podcast by and for Black gay men, creating space for candid conversations about HIV, sex, pleasure, chemsex, substance use, loneliness, relationships, bodily autonomy, and community care. Hosted by Bishar Jenkins and Micah Marquez, the series explores the realities of Black gay men’s lives without reducing our experiences to risk, stigma, or pathology. These are honest conversations about desire, connection, survival, agency, and the things we do not always get to say out loud. Produced by AIDS United as part of the Pipeline Collaborative, Mask’d Confessionals invites Black gay men to take the masks off, speak freely, and be fully seen.
