Immerse yourself in this delightful and clever novel, narrated in the first person by the charming and resourceful Moll Flanders. Born into the most precarious of circumstances, Moll navigates a tumultuous life filled with love, intrigue, and deception. Throughout her journey, she captivates and marries numerous men—sometimes through cunning tricks—and when her fortunes wane, she turns to a life of crime, executing audacious heists until she ultimately faces the grim possibility of execution. Molls humorous insights into the romantic pursuits of men add a layer of wit to her tale, reminding us that this engaging voice is crafted by a male author. (Summary by Peter Dann)
