Muhammad bin Yahya al-Ninowy is a Syrian-born Islamic scholar and the founder of Madina Institute. He is widely respected for promoting a message of mercy, spiritual depth, and non-violence through Islamic teachings. He memorised the Qur’an at a young age and studied traditional sciences under scholars in Aleppo. He later continued his studies at Al-Azhar University, specialising in Hadith. Alongside religious training, he pursued degrees in Microbiology and Medicine in the United States. He established the Madina Institute and Planet Mercy, with branches in the USA, UK, South Africa, and other countries. These institutions provide Islamic education, humanitarian relief, and interfaith programs. His focus remains on compassion, justice, and sound Islamic scholarship. Through the Center for Nonviolence and Peace Studies, he promotes a vision of Islam rooted in love and ethical conduct. He continues to teach and lecture worldwide, making a lasting impact on students and communities.
