Omar al Darweez (also spelled Omar Al-Dariwis, Omar Al-Dareweez) is a Quran reciter of Saudi nationality and origin, born in Al-Ahsa Governorate, Saudi Arabia. He primarily recites in the Hafs ‘an Asim narration. Digital Qur’anic archives feature numerous recordings of his recitations, including a complete recitation of the Holy Quran and various individual surahs. His voice is widely praised for its beauty, emotional impact, and ability to touch hearts. He is known for his melodious and sincere delivery, which creates a profoundly spiritual listening experience. Omar al Darweez is currently a university student at the College of Sharia. He works as the Imam of the Muslim Mosque in the Al-Naseem neighborhood in Hofuf, Al-Ahsa. He gained significant media attention for his recitations through various videos, which led prominent reciters like Nasser Al-Qatami to commend him. He has also been invited to open many major forums in Al-Ahsa and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
