Ever wonder what really goes on in a school library besides the quiet whispers and the occasional “Shhh”? Well, Stacks and Stories is here to let the cat out of the bag—or should we say, the book out of the shelf? This is AOSR’s brand-new podcast where students and teachers get a mic and a moment to speak their minds, share their stories, and yes, talk books too. We’re kicking things off with two people who practically live in the library (by choice): our elementary and secondary school librarians. You’ll hear a few laughs, a few confessions, and maybe even pick up a book rec or two (don’t say we didn’t warn you when your to-read list explodes). If you’ve ever had a favorite reading spot, gotten emotionally wrecked by a middle grade novel, or wondered if librarians have a secret society (spoiler: they might), this one’s for you.
