About?

Sexual Assault Services Victoria (SASVic) has launched a new podcast series to support families impacted by child sexual abuse.  The three-part series answers questions that parents and caregivers may have following reports of an ongoing investigation into alleged incidents of child sexual abuse in Victorian early childhood and education settings. ’Supporting children to recover after sexual abuse’ is produced by SASVic, the peak body for Victoria’s specialist sexual assault sector and hosted by SASVic staff member Kayti Murphy. The podcast features four practitioners from across the specialist sexual assault sector. Caroline Whitehouse, Shureeka Alves, Blythe McAuley and Michael Derby are experienced in supporting children and their families and have joined SASVic to answer some commonly asked questions.
