The AI Chatbot Drag Race is an immersive, experimental comedy podcast by Kiril Traykov in which six popular AI large language models are asked to build a drag persona using four personality traits: charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, and enter a drag competition modeled after RuPaul's Drag Race. The podcast explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, drag culture, large language model creativity, and Responsible AI principles. The podcast consists of 8 episodes in which the first one is a short introduction by the creator, followed by episodes that have a “main-stage performance” followed by a short Q&A discourse to recap the events and offer insights on the behavior of the AI chatbots. The entire runtime is 2 hours and 10 minutes, the typical length of a movie nowadays, to allow for the plot to unravel with character depth and intriguing twists.
