There is no author listed. Written for ages 8-125, I am hoping you can help me figure out who wrote it while solving the mystery along with the Young Detectives.  SYNOPSIS: When twelve-year-old Lucy and her fellow Young Detectives are hired to find a kidnapped pet parrot of unknown origin and incredible linguistic ability, the pack of friends uncover ancient legends of August Island, and soon discover the mystery stretches far beyond a missing bird.
