The Island of Doctor Moreau (Version Revised) is one of the most influential science fiction novels ever written. In this chilling tale by H. G. Wells, Edward Prendick survives a shipwreck and finds himself stranded on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean. There he encounters the brilliant but disturbing Doctor Moreau, a scientist conducting secret experiments that blur the line between humans and animals. As Prendick uncovers the truth behind the island’s strange inhabitants, he is forced to confront unsettling questions about science, morality, evolution, and the nature of humanity itself. The island becomes a terrifying laboratory where ambition has no limits and the consequences of playing with nature are impossible to control. Combining suspense, adventure, horror, and philosophical insight, this classic novel remains as thought-provoking today as when it was first published. The revised version offers a polished reading experience while preserving Wells’s unforgettable vision of scientific obsession and human identity. Summary by dreamaudiobooks.com
