By 2001, Jay-Z was no longer chasing the throne. He was sitting on it. But with his biggest album yet, he was about to prove why he belonged there. The Ruler’s Back: The Making of The Blueprint is the definitive audio documentary exploring the creation of Jay-Z’s landmark 2001 album, The Blueprint. Through deep research, rare stories, and exclusive interviews with key figures involved in the album’s creation, including Young Guru, Bink and Just Blaze, the podcast goes behind the music to uncover the people, places, ideas and pivotal moments that shaped one of the most influential albums in Rap history.
