The Six Shooter brought James Stewart to the NBC microphone on September 20, 1953, in a fine series of down-home Western adventures. Stewart starred as Britt Ponset, a drifting cowboy and gunfighter in the final years of the wild west. Some of the more prominent actors to perform on the program included Parley Baer, Virginia Gregg, Harry Bartell, Howard McNear, Jeanette Nolan, Dan O'Herlihy, Alan Reed, Marvin Miller, and William Conrad. Unfortunately, the show only ran for one season of 39 episodes. This podcast features all episodes.
